MISSION  
To foster awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)
in children and young adults through
education, legislation and cardiac screenings
in an effort to protect kids from SCA

STATEMENT
Nick of Time Foundation
will provide support and education for
school districts, colleges and communities
in the placement, use, training and maintenance of
Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s)
The Nick of Time Foundation will work to educate students,
parents, teachers, coaches, community leaders and
the medical community by providing FREE ONSITE community
youth cardiovascular screenings. School: onsite assessments,
readiness drills, educational assemblies,
and the continued support needed to
maintain a successful AED program


OBJECTIVES

•  Increase survival rates for victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest

•  Empowering organizations to take ownership of
their individual AED  programs

•  Provide AED training and continued program support

•  Work towards legislation requiring AED/CPR/First Aid training
as part of the High School curriculum

• Provide opportunities for Free Community Cardiac Screenings

•  Improved pre-participation physical exams (PPE)
and information leading to more thorough
sports physicals as a way to identify potential heart problems.

•  As a member of the state-by-state network
of Parent Heart Watch,
we are dedicated to supporting parents
in Washington State who have lost children to SCA
